Appealing to the senses and delivering the perfect finish…
Award-winning Single Cask-Single Malts are now produced in the South of Scotland at Annandale Distillery in Annan, which had been closed for over 90 years, until new owners took over in 2008.
Reintroducing Single Malt Scotch Whisky production was a primary motivation for the team at Annandale as was producing peated and unpeated Single Malts that were different to others on the market and that would be credible within the ‘sensory universe’ of Single Malt Scotch whisky.
Quite a challenge, and although very different to the world of design and print at Alba, there is of course a common understanding about the importance of colour, finish, appearance and sensory appeal.
Annandale Distillery now produce award-winning Man O’ Sword (peated) and Man O’ Words (unpeated) Single Malts from their modern production plant. It is also a popular visitor centre and café.
The relationship with Alba started in 2015 and for the past 5 years, our design and production teams have been designing and printing everything from interior and exterior signage to leaflets, sales cards, bottle labels and the all-important certificate of authenticity.
You can see much of Alba’s work on display in and around the Distillery in Annan.
